Beginners’ Band

This is an introduction to playing a brass instrument (cornet, horn, baritone, etc.)  Kids are taught the basics of instrumental technique and theory, and learn to play pieces for occasional performance.

When:  

  • Tuesday evenings, 7:15-8:00 p.m.

Where:  

  • At Scarborough Citadel, in the multi-purpose room

Requirements:

  • Open to all children ages 7 years and over from the corps or from the community (subject to availability of instruments and a one-time registration fee of $50)
