"A CHURCH OF THE SALVATION ARMY"

"Welcome!"   Updated: Monday, 30-Aug-2010 14:17:14 EDT -dfc

For the past 50 years,  Scarborough Citadel, a community church of the Salvation Army, has made its home at the corner of Warden and Lawrence Avenues in Scarborough.

  • a Christmas assistance program
  • a variety of other programs designed to help in practical ways

Are you hungry for the Word of God?

As a Christian church, we are convinced that peace and contentment in this life depend on developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.  In an effort to promote this understanding, we offer the following…
  • worship services that provide time for celebration, reflection, and prayer
  • a Sunday School program during the worship service which challenges and teaches our young people what it means to be a friend of God
  • Bible Studies for different age groups and interests

Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer?

As one of the largest non-governmental providers of social services the Salvation Army is dependant upon the donations of  the community of which we are a part, not only for finances, but of peoples time. Many opportunities exist for the general public to help us help the unfortunate. Some examples of this include ...
